We find Drupal a very powerful content management system and web application programme. It works perfectly for small and expanding websites. The design / layout element can be altered easily and we have now installed and managed over 20 Drupal sites, with many different installed modules. 

We now have a lot of experience changing / updating existing websites for clients, and are very aware of the number of issues that arise when previous web designers no longer provide support, or for that matter, no longer communicate.

They are very often in control of the clients domain name too, and to that end we will always recommend clients have immediate access to their domain names, in a location seperate from the server.

Our websites are hosted by Iron Mountain, on a solar powered dedicated server. We prefer to have the sites we design on our server; as it makes it easier for us to keep the sites completely up to date, important for the security and performance of any site. But if you have a server already, we can work with that too.

Many of our design layouts come from CMS Lounge and the many  free contributed Drupal themes. As most of our sites are not for profit / charity sites, we dont want to spend too much on each website. Luckily the Drupal community makes everything either free or very affordable. We are currently learning how to port our own designs to be used on Drupal websites...watch this space.
